Wait

"Wait"

Russell Kelfer

Desperately, helplessly, longingly, I cried.
Quietly,patiently, lovingly God replied.
I pled and I wept for a clue to my fate,
And the Master so gently said, "Child, you must wait".
"Wait? You say, wait! " my indignant reply.
"Lord, Ineed answers, I need to know why!
Is your hand shortened? Or haveyou not heard?
By Faith, I have asked, and am claiming your Word.
My future and all to which I can relate
hangs in the balance, and YOU tell me to WAIT?
I'm needing a 'yes', a go-ahead sign, or even a 'no' to which I can resign.
And Lord, You promised that if we believe
we need but to ask, and we shall receive.
And Lord, I've been asking, and this is my cry: I'm weary of asking! I need a reply!
Then quietly, softly, I learned of my fate
As my Master replied once again, "You must wait."
So, I slumped in my chair, defeated and taut and grumbled to God,
"So, I'm waiting.... for what?" He seemed, then, to kneel,
and His eyes wept with mine,
And he tenderly said, "I could give you a sign.
I could shake the heavens, and darken the sun.
I could raise the dead, and cause mountains to run.
All you seek, I could give, and pleased you would be.
You would have what you want~~But, you wouldn't know Me.
You'd not know the depth of My love for each saint;
You'd not know the power that I give to the faint;
You'd not learn to see through the clouds of despair;
You'd not learn to trust just by knowing I'm there;
You'd not know the joy of resting in Me
When darkness and silence were all you could see.
You'd never experience that fullness of love
As the peace of My Spirit descends like a dove;
You'd know that I give and I save.... (for a start),
But you'd not know the depth of the beat of My heart.
The glow of My comfort late into the night,
The faith that I give when you walk without sight,
The depth that's beyond getting just what you asked
Of an infinite God, who makes what you have LAST.
You'd never know, should your pain quickly flee,
What it means that "My grace is sufficient for Thee."
Yes, your dreams or your loved one overnight would come true,
But, Oh, the Loss! If I lost what I'm doing in you!
So, be silent, My Child, and in time you will see
That the greatest of gifts is to get to know Me.
And though oft' may My answers seem terribly late,
My most precious answer of all is still,"WAIT."

Paying The Bills

I am thankful today, and everyday for my amazing job, and the great company I am employed for. I love working, and it makes it even better when you love your job. My company treats its employees so well, and I am truly blessed to have them in my life.

I am a Collections Specialist and Accounting/Billing for The Beehive Companies, (ex: Wireless Beehive, Beehive Broadband, Beehive Telephone, Beehive Master Builders, etc.) I have worked for them for three years this March. I have been doing collections now for almost seven years. I do a broad range of things, and learn more and more everyday. I really do love having a great career, and working in a professional environment.

My Husband

Today I want to say how thankful I am for my husband, Craig. He is amazing. We have been through SO much together in 8 years, most importantly, we have grown up a lot, together. I am truly blessed to say we have always had a good relationship. Do we fight? Yes, it's natural, human, and healthy. But the most important thing is we always work it out. Giving up has never been an option for either of us. We have never "broken up" or said we didn't love one another, or disrespected each other. And that to me is special. Has it been hard at times? Of course. Has it been worth it? Every second.

I appreciate him and the things he does everyday. He makes a great husband, partner and friend. And someday, he will make an amazing father.

I love you Craig.

Thank you

Thank you to all of those who have served. My freedom is only free because you gave your time, and some of you, your life. I am thankful, and proud to be an American. I may not always agree with the reasons we are at war, but I do support my troops, for doing their jobs with their heads held high.

So thank you, to all that have served, are serving, or are thinking of serving. I appreciate your service.

Crafty Gifts

My bestie Cait and I got together recently and made some cute crafts for some Christmas gifts. We had so much fun and they turned out way cute! We made seven of these all together!! We are going to finish them up here shortly, but I wanted to share a sneak peak at our cute craft!

They turned out super cute! I can't wait to finish them up, and give them as gifts!

A long time coming

We can go ahead and say I am the worst blogger ever. I haven't posted in over a month. My life is non stop. So much going on, and so little time to accomplish all those things.

I have been starting to get better since my accident. I am doing Physical Therapy twice a week, which I hate, but I know it will make me better in the end. I am STILL fighting the insurance company. Thankkfully I have a lawyer who is handling this case for me now, so I am only having to worry about very little. They are expensive in the end, but I think it's worth every penny to save my sanity.

Overall, life is good. I really, at the end of the day, so not have much to complain about. I am truley blessed. Craig and I celebrated our 8 year anniversary this month, on November 2nd. Wow. Honestly, it feels like these last eight years have flown by. I can't belive I was 16 eight years ago! But I guess time flies when you're having fun, which we are. :) I am very happy to be married to my best friend. He is so good to me, and we make a great team.

In honor of Thanksgiving... and in order to get me back into the swing of full on blogging, I am going to start posting things that I am thankful for. I know people are doing this on facebook, but honestly, my blog is something much eaiser to go back and look at, and remember.

So right now, I would like to say that I am thankful for the life that Craig and I have built, and the life I have been blessed with. Times have been tough, and their will be more times that are hard; but everything will always work out, for the best, exactly how they were meant to be. All the things, and people, and blessings I have in my life are cherished.

Soooo

So I have slacked off again on the blogging. Life caught up to me I guess.

Things have been a little hectic lately. I was hit by a drunk driver on my way to work on September 7th. at 7:30am... YES, you read that right, a drunk drive at 7am on a Wednesday. The experience had been crazy. My car is totaled, I have a hairline fracture in my left hip, two cracked ribs on my right side, a pinched nerve in my neck, and a small tear in my muscle that runs from my right shoulder up my neck, and two bulging disc's in my neck. I also have some minor internal bruising which caused a lot of pain for awhile but is now calming down. This process is still continuing and probably will for many months. We ended up having to get a lawyer because the insurance company was not cooperating at all.

I think the worst part about all this has been that now I am so tense when driving. I was completely hit out of no where when this happened, so now I find myself continually looking for something that may go wrong. It is really a horrible feeling and I hate driving now. I am told this will pass... but while it is here, it sucks.

I got a new car out of the whole deal though... actually we bought two new vehicles within a week. Craig now owns a Ford F150 Supercharged Harley edition truck, and I have a 2010 Chevy HHR. They are both very nice cars.

On another note... fall is here! I am sad, but also a little excited. I love summer more then anything... and I think fall is beautiful, but it brings winter! ICK! But I am so excited about all the holidays coming; this makes the winter all worth it. Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years! I am a holiday junkie.

Well, here was my quick update.... hopefully the next one will be sooner rather then later.
